Its more pearly than I expected but that's ok. It's a nice lighter pink. Glides on smooth, dried fast enough. I waited probably less than a minute before applying the gloss. The gloss is great, not sticky. The gloss brush does have stiff black bristles as another review stated. One star off for that. It is smudge proof but I'm not sure how long it lasts.
