OK, I am a longtime wearer of this lipstick. Here's the deal. If you want a lipstick that SERIOUSLY STAYS ON ALL DAY...look no farther. This is the one. I put it on in the morning and it will last an entire day, and even to the next morning if I don't scrub it off with vaseline! Here the catch: you have to know how to put it on correctly; you have to be PATIENT as it drys, and you have to put on the clear gloss over it every couple of hours to keep it moist.Lets go into more detail. Putting is on correctly is crucial. You put it on your lips, one thinnish smooth coat. Get it perfect coz once it drys...good luck getting it off! In other words don't go "over your lip" and think you can wipe it off later. It will be very hard to remove. So get it right. And make sure you smile a couple times so it gets in the cracks on your lips too. You don't want "bald spots" when you smile! Lol! Then, go on to do the rest of your makeup while it completely, totally dries. Do NOT put the gloss on until the color has completely dried and set.Once completely dry, go ahead and gloss it up. The gloss will make it feel nice and moist. If your gloss wears off during the day and you fail to re-gloss, there is a consequence! Your lips will feel dry, the color is dry, and when you finally do put on the gloss you may end up with little dried balls of color on your lips by the end of the day! It's not really a big deal, no one can really tell but you, but it feels annoying. So don't let it happen and just put on the gloss through the day.Other than that, your lipstick will never wear off! Eating, drinking, kissing...what ever! You will have perfect lips the rest of the day. It's awesome stuff.This color in particular is very dark cherry red. It goes on exactly the way it looks in the bottle. It is not lighter! So don't buy it thinking it's lighter when worn. I love it coz I like dazzling colors [I have nice lips so I like to draw attention to them!] If you want something not so showy, get a lighter color!
